RISE Services
Earlier today December 14, 2021, we delivered all of the SCCC donated items to Rise Services. We needed two fully loaded SUVs and a pickup truck to get everything that you have donated in the past 3 weeks over to them. The Rise Staff and a few of their clients greeted us with open arms and helped us unload. I think that all of the SCCC members that were there this morning would agree that we overwhelmed Rise with our generosity. As we removed the donations from the vehicles, I can't tell you how many times I heard "Thank You", "We Love You", "Can't believe you're giving us all this stuff", etc. We had table after table full of the many different items that they needed. Thanks to you all, we covered just about everything on our distribution list. Before we left, I told them that we had one more surprise for them. We have ordered the Massage Chair and it will be delivered before Christmas. Our immediate contact though all of this Deborah Luder, broke down again and said that we will never know how much this chair will mean to their clients, and the good that will come from it.I want you all to know that today was one of those memorable occasions that I will personally remember for a long, long time. A lot of smiles, tears, hugs, and joy was had by all. I want to thank Ray Danczak, John Seeger, Sharon & George Johnson, Gail Junokas, Linda Rizzo, and my wife (Judy) for their help and support today. As we drove away I can assure you that we can count on everything that we gave to be fully appreciated and that it is going to a worthy cause. We should all feel very proud to be associated with such a good, caring and giving group of people that we have as members in our Sun Country Corvette Club. You are the best!!!Thank you, we are planning on donating to Rise Services on behalf of SCCC. a Massage Chair. after receiving Rise Services' blessing that this chair meets and exceeds their expectations, I've gone ahead and ordered it. Our goal is to hopefully get it delivered to them before Christmas. Right now the order states, scheduled delivery Dec 23rd-Jan 6th. Once again you have come through when called upon showing your generosity and thoughtfulness. We know that Rise Services will be more than grateful for this much needed massage chair and that their clients will get full usage from our gift to them. Thank you all so much,Jim
