Deer Valley Airport for a tour of a WWII B-29 Superfortress Aircraft
Yesterday, Friday May 27th Don Tobin organized and then led members of our club over to Deer Valley Airport for a tour of a WWII B-29 Superfortress Aircraft. The B-29 Superfortress is a four-engine, propellor-driven, heavy bomber. It was flown primarily during World War II and the Korean War. The B-29 was designed and built by Boeing and was used for high altitude strategic bombing but was also excellent in low altitude night bombing as well. Our thanks go out to Don Tobin again for setting this up for the club. Great Job!!!!
